Having spent most of his life on a Rugby pitch, exploring the South Downs or swimming in the sea, it is no surprise that Julian has such love and affinity for the outdoors. After a career in sport and fitness Julian retrained, studying garden design at Plumpton College, shortly after forming Inspired Gardens. Working alongside his sons Julian is proud of his 30 strong team of highly motivated landscapers, plantsmen and logistical team who all share his passion for transforming outdoor spaces and live his mantra “Detail can’t be and never is added later”.
Being outdoors and active is clearly in the genes of the Drage family and Sam is no exception, spending much of his down time travelling the world and exploring new lands, cultures and wildlife. From temples in the far East to sitting with Gorillas in Africa Sam will be seeking inspiration for what can be created in the outdoors. Having studied landscape construction at Merristwood College, Sam has now developed many years of experience leading our landscaping teams with a relentless energy, metronomic work rate and strong team values. No surprise for someone who has led his local rugby team for the last three years.
When she isn’t cheering on her beloved football team, The Seagulls, Laura can be found working on her home renovation – and always accompanied by her Golden Labrador, Bennett. Having travelled all over the world after leaving college, Laura initially studied Sports Journalism at university in Southampton, but following a stint working in her family business of Builders Merchanting, the construction industry quickly became her real passion. A second spell, this time at Birmingham City University, saw Laura achieve her Post Graduate Diploma in Independent Merchant Leadership and Strategy and these days can be found managing the day-to-day operations here at Inspired Homes and Gardens.
